this is the point right here. so simple, yet no one does it. just save your money. put off things you can't afford until you are set. don't smoke weed, don't chase girls, don't party all the time, etc. until you have your money right. m.o.b. is the way to live to you are wealthy. don't go out to a movie that costs $10, that's just stupid. don't go out to eat for $10, when you can buy groceries and cook yourself for less than half of that. don't smoke cigarettes. basically don't spend money on anything except the necessities until you are rich. that's how you get rich. poor people are poor because they take their paycheck and spend it all on bullshit. if you are still young, don't move out of your parents house, that's $400 a month (depending on where you live) down the drain right there. that's my 2 cents.

I try to put money into an interest bearing savings account every week. Usually around 50$, not much but with interest it adds up after awhile.

The main key is patience, leaving money sit around the house will do nothing for you. You have to use your money to make more by investing in long-term low risk accounts or stocks.

Agriculture, Bio-Chemistry, and security companies are probably the safest bets these days. It is always a good idea to do research before you decide on investing as well. Look at a company's long-term plans and see if that fits what you are looking for.
